“We need to nurture our passion for storytelling and create unique entertainment products. It’s time for Vietnamese young people to be present as storytelling artists, not just consumers or processors. I believe that Vietnamese people are just lacking a playground, not lacking good stories,” said director Charlie Nguyen.

In particular, the director of the movie Teo em said that through this contest, he hopes that he and his colleagues can find unique stories to adapt into movies or television series, the way that studios do. Big movies in Hollywood and Japan have been and are being made.

“I believe that those who love comic books know very well which cinematic works originate from comic books and have great success around the world. So now is the time to start the journey to create that miracle”, director Charlie Nguyen expressed.
