Comink Competition #02 is here!

The contest is open to all Vietnamese people domestically and internationally, without age or profession restrictions
Individuals or Groups are allowed.
Individuals/Groups of contestants hereby declare that the submitted work was created by me/us and does not violate anyone’s intellectual property rights.

All stories/works need to be original and not previously publish.
All contestants from Comink season 1 can join again.
Comink is IP holder of all stories submitted.
Awarding (Official revision from the previous information.)

1. Prize 1: 20 mil VND in cash
2. Prize 2: 15 mil VND in cash
3. Prize 3: 10 mil VND in cash

Rules for submitting entries:
- Receiving email: hello.comink@gmail.com
- Email name/file name: Name according to the structure: Cominkss2_ARTISTNAME_WORKNAME

For example: your full name is Nguyen Tran Phong Lan, the work title is Amber Marbles
The file name will be set as:
Cominkss2_PHONGLAN_AMBERMARBLES

- All pages in each work need to be numbered from 001 onwards and uploaded to Google Drive when emailed to the Organizing Committee.
Season 2 entries submitted before 18/03/2024 are considered early submissions and do not need to pay additional fees. However, if you make any edits to the work, please resend the work to the Organizing Committee’s email.

1. Colored cover page (fully colored works are encouraged)
2. Summary of story/script in Vietnamese and English (no more than 400 words/story for each language)

Note: Any online translation tool can be used to assist with translation

Format: Webtoon
Deliver: 3 – 7 episodes, each episode: 30-60 panels
All works need to be categorized as below (can mixed more than 1 category together)

Understand that all works are made specifically for this competition and are not allowed to submit anywhere else without the Comink organizers permission.
Comink shall have the right to do interviews with finalists.
Finalists are encouraged to attend the award ceremony.
Any 3rd party businesses offering to purchase any contestant works must be firstly negotiated with COMINK organizers and company administration.
COMINK will have full rights to exploit the contest entries as well as derivative works from the entries. Any profits earned from the original work (contest entry) or derivative work will be split 50/50 between the artist (individual or group) and COMINK after deducting all expenses.
Artists can use any digital tool to create the works and must give the name and description of the tool they’ve used in their work.

COMPETITION ROUNDS

The competition will be divided into 3 phrases/rounds. All applications need to have:

From March, 18 to end of June

Color page with title (or poster)
Logline (Summarize the story in 1-2 sentences), bilingual Vietnamese – English.
Summary of the story/script in Vietnamese and English (no more than 400 words/story for each language).
Full colored characters sketch
